5 out of 5 stars Just the right book to power up brands with Twitter   October 5, 2009

Comm's book will alert you to the real business possibilities of Twitter. He guides new and intermediate Twitter users through the whole process of using Twitter productively, from creating a profile to building a following to measuring your success. He also explains how to get business results on Twitter and how to measure those results. While Comm covers the basics for beginners, even experienced users will discover tidbits that will improve how they tweet. getAbstract needs more than 140 characters to recommend Comm's book, which gives corporate communicators, brand managers and individuals the information they need to do Twitter right.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic book   January 11, 2010

I bought this book as I am starting my own design and photography business and want to improve my business' presence and image on Twitter, as well as increase my following.

The author guides you through the various ways you can utilize a simple Tweet (as well as the types of Tweets you can create) to market your business. He gives practical examples of Tweets created by successful businesses where possible, which I found extremely handy.

I have since applied his examples and found them hugely successful.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone wanting to improve their personal or business profile on Twitter and gain some extra followers in the process.

Yes V. Good.

I liked this book very much because it covers everything to give a complete newbie the confidence to start using Twitter to promote their business.

The book covers so many useful topics. Best of all for me was Twitter etiquette and how to avoid annoying fellow twitterers. Also absolutely invaluable references to Twitter tools (mainly free) to ease and enhance your twitter campaign.

Minor criticism, bit short, could have gone deeper with examples of the actual words used to promote. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Sincere thanks to the author.

Got this a few months ago for a medium sized business who are totally new to Twitter.

Has been passed around the department and is helping to make us all more confident with using Twitter(some members of the team were slightly hesitant to start with!). We're starting to generate great creative ideas moving forward.

This is a good book both for its setting for the topic and for the detailed and reasoned approach it makes to managing Twitter in a corporate environment. Don't Twitter without it!
